More Tea?

Lily had us over for a quick tea party. It's fun to see them wait and wait and wait for everything to be prepared. Then swallow it all in two seconds and go play something else. :)

Soccer Week 3

Birthday party was the theme for our practice this week. We looked at numbers and then went to the different birthday 'cakes' to blow out the candles. Then we pretended mom was a pinata and she had to kick the ball between my legs. It was fun and windy.

A day at Monterey

There's always something to see at the aquarium. These sea anemones were so colorful. Of course playing in the water channel is always fun for a two year old. After the aquarium we ventured off on the 17 mile drive- which news to us was a pretty fee- there were some breath taking views and the ocean was a beautiful shade of blue. We also saw the lone cypress that is the trademark symbol of Pebble beach. It was cool to see it.

Career Day

"I'm Working!" she tells Mom & Dad while she taps away at Daddy's laptop. She sure had fun meeting all of Daddy's work friends and their kids. She made a gift for Daddy and watched some Baby Geese swimming. It was an especially special treat to see the fire truck too- even though she was very reluctant to go inside.

Soccer Week 3

We listened to coach tell us a princess story. Then we 'passed out' gifts. And put out dragon fires. We sure are enjoying soccer.

Practicing Perfect Princess Manners

Enjoying some "Tea" (warm apple cider) while she practices her manners is Oh soo cute. She received this tea set from our good friend Loretta. We LOVE playing tea party.

Thanks Easter Bunny!

What's the story with Easter Baskets? WEll, its a simple reminder of how surprised they were when they made it to the tomb to find it empty... Then to find Jesus Alive! How awesome.
Thanks Easter Bunny for the fun basket.

Happy Easter 2009

Egg hunt Extras

Also at the egg hunt were real Easter bunnies! Lola looooved holding and petting them. They also had little chicks that kept escaping the little pin. Lola had her face painted too. She sat amazingly still the whole time.

Egg Hunt

Finding Easter Eggs is always a great way to start the day... We went to the Egg hunt at our old church. The weather never seems to cooperate with hiding plans. So we found an abundance of eggs in the nursery. Lola really had a great time.

Giant Bubble Bath

Grammy has a deep swirly tub that Lola enjoyed swimming in with her diving sticks.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We enjoyed dying Easter Eggs with Grammy and Kumu. Lola really liked adding the princess stickers.

SNoW!

We enjoyed driving in the Rockies and letting Lola  & Eric stomp around on what is left of the ski season. She liked eating it too! It even snowed on us on our way down the mountain.

Soccer week 2

Here's Lola in 'soccer stance' with her foot on the ball. She's been pretty excited about soccer. We need to practice more at home so that she won't be so shy at class.

looking for some CANDY- i mean Eggs....

The girls caught on pretty quick that there were some serious candy in the eggs. They had fun looking for them with their cute bunny ears.

Happy Easter

Lola was very excited to go take a picture with the Easter bunny at the mall. She ran all the way to the line and smiled when they took the picture.

how do you throw this thing again..?

With our new friends we made at church we've been talked into playing softball. The team is called a swing and a prayer (ASAP)What fun! We both were so excited about the idea that we headed right out to the batting cages. Then we both realized we needed some practice. We played/won our first game Monday night with Lola cheering us on in the background. She made friends with some kids and used their pompoms to cheer too! I was so proud..:)

Sleeping good

We have had some very fun filled days with this little princess. She's so wore out by the end of the day that she sleeps the whole night through.

Hurry and take the picture dad

Lola loves this new park we found. It has a castle and a dragon. You can kinda see the slide in the dragon picture. Lola loves this fast slide. When she crawled up in the dragon's mouth the first time, she said, Ok we should get out of here. It was funny. She liked pretending to be in the dragon's egg too.

Egg hunt

There was an Easter egg hunt at a family's house from church. Lola enjoyed playing with all of the little girl's polly pocket toys... (I wonder what she'll like for her birthday..) They put coins in the eggs- don't know why- instead of candy then they gave gift bags at the end. So imagine her confusion when by her third egg she says- "NO candy, just money...." It was kinda funny to hear her say that. She had fun playing with all of the big girls and riding on the swing set.

My friend Lily

The girls haven't seen much of each other lately, so today we met up for a fun picnic at a really cool park. The girls talked about soccer it was really cute. xoxo

Splash!

Jumping in the pool is nothing for this daring little fish of ours.. Between Daddy and her they have come up with several different styles of jumping including the cannon BALL!  She likes to try and catch the attention of the older kids at the pool. She loves to go diving for her princess sticks. She is so determined to collect all three while she's under water. We recently added goggles to her swim attire. She loves them. She even wears them in the tub sometimes :) We are so proud of her swimming skills.

Tea anyone?

Tea party is a major part of our day.. We play it with all sort of Lola's friends... Here she is having an Easter Tea Party with her princesses..
